A year ago I photographed Em for the first time. When we started the photoshoot they mentioned that they were trying to present more masculine lately and wanted these photos to showcase that energy. We focused on just that and ended up being thrilled with the results.
A year later we are now good friends. We were recently talking about how funny it is that at the time these photos were so gender euphoric for them and how much they’ve changed and have come into their gender since then. I then had an idea. What if we recreated these photos? They were immediately on board and we picked a date, roughly a year from the first photos.
I am thrilled to share these new photos as a testament to the growth we've both experienced over the past year.
